Thank you for taking the time to visit my page. I appreciate your interest in my loan request. On paper traditional lenders have determined I am a poor risk. In person I am fiscally responsible, but just coming out of a year of temporary insanity.
As a borrower I pledge the following:
-I will not request any loan amount or rate I do not have the means to repay.
-I will respond to relevant information requests in a timely and accurate manner.
-I will promptly and fully repay my loan.
-I have 'cleaned house' in my business and personal life and have a reasonable plan for reversing my financial situation.

Background:
2006 was a life-changing year for me. My marriage of 12 years ended when my husband/biz partner left with no notice. Our state is no-fault. The settlement and related costs completely depleted my emergency cash reserves.

In August, I began having trouble meeting regular expenses and bills. Investigation revealed my key employees were at the root of the cash flow problem. Restaffing, filing police reports, tallying the damage added another layer of complexity and stress.
Trying to do everything led to doing everything poorly which led to being overwhelmed. By the time I took action, my credit was such that traditional funding options are as good as closed to me. I have painted myself into a real corner through false pride, willful ignorance and procrastination.

At this time,  I am 2 payments in arrears on my mortgage. The mortgage lates alone have bumped my pretty good credit into the abyss. The mourning period is over. I need to start the hard, slow work of rebuilding my creditworthiness. It's my hope that my participation here will enable me to 'make lemonade' out of last year's bumper crop of lemons. By this time next year, I would like to be funding loans rather than requesting them.
