I borrowed $1,000 from prosper in December 06 and paid it off in two payments. I want to borrow $5,000 this time. $1,500 to pay off my account with Dell Financial, $500 to pay off my credit card with HSBC, $1,000 to payoff my fiance's Buick Rendezvous that I purchased from my father, and the other $2,000 to use for an emergency fund that I will deposit in my ING Direct savings account. I went through a divorce two years ago that ruined my good credit. Before my divorce I had a credit score of 730, I had never paid late on anything before. My current debt to income ratio is 2%. I have a company paid vehicle & my other vehicle will be paid off with loan proceeds. If my loan goes through, the only debt account that I will have is my loan with prosper. I want to keep my loan with prosper for atleast 1 yr to try to improve my credit score. With no other debts & my income, making the monthly payments will be no problem. Please help in my attempt to get my credit back on track.
