I have a small second generation welding,fabricating and powdercoating shop. My primary product is a residential boat dock system. I have been running it since 1989. At first it was a seasonal business and I worked elsewhere in the off season. I have built it into a 12 month business with a part time and a full time employee with myself for 12 months and 6 to 8 seasonal workers.
I have worked hard to diversify my capabilities into other directions such as stairways, ornamental handrails and driveway gates.
In 1998 I built my powdercoating system which has helped greatly to expand my clientelle and bottom line.
2002 and 2003 were tough years aftera post September 11th slowdown. I have made some changes and things are improving, but I could still use some help to get my early season off to a good start.
