This is a fairly straight
foreword situation. You can see that I have decent credit, but that I
have excessive debt. I address in my profile that this is from an
unfortunate situation which resulted in a legal battle over my son.
Most of the debt I have now is at a decent interest rate, but I do have
about $4,000 on one credit card which is at an unacceptable rate.
Because I've never been late on a payment the card issuer will not
negotiate a better rate. I would like to replace that higher interest
debt
with a lower rate. This piece of debt is my current target in my
process of debt elimination. If I get it re-financed, it will remain my
goal to pay it off as quickly as possible. As it is I pay about $150 a
month toward this card (which is more than the min.), and make double
payments about twice a year. My
car will be paid off this fall which will open up a significant
increase infunds to repay this loan faster. Thanks for reading.
