I am a single mother to a 4 year old son. I am on Active Duty as a SSgt in the US Air Force as an ER medic. I have been stationed at Lackland AFB for 7 years and have been in the military for 11 years and definitely plan on retiring. I am trying to start my own business as a Mary Kay beauty consultant and need this money to purchase my initial product stock so that I can have the items for my customers when they order them and they will not have to wait to get their orders. I can reapay this loan on an allotment basis if that would be better for the lenders, you can be assured I will never miss a payment as you would be able to go to my chain of command and that would only mean administrative action taken against me. I have a stellar record in the Air Force, I have won NCO of the quarter numerous times and Tech of the month lots of times. I am also very involved with my base and community as the President of the Lackland AFB Child Development Center Parent Advisory Board which is the equivalent of a PTA . I have spearheaded numerous fund raisers, volunteer activities with Habitat for Humanity, children's shelters within the San Antonio area and the abused women's shelter of San Antonio. I definitely am a giver to all who are in need.l hate to ask for this loan but I am out of options to get the money any other way. I am willing to pay as much as 50% interest if necessary to ensure my loan is granted. I know my credit is not great and I hate to place blame but it was good until after I got divorced and I am trying really hard to clean it up but it is not so easy to do...I have paid or am paying off most of the creditors but it still takes time to get these items off your credit once they are there. I am a hard working upstanding member of the Air Force. I am trying to do this so that it will be my career once I do retire and I can put myself through college as a social worker so I can try to help reduce the number of child abuse cases in this country.
