I am a new member of Prosper.com seeking to join your group before requesting a loan. Probably the best way to get to know who I am is to purse www.bobsfriends.com. This will show you who I am and where my passion lies.
The (sad) side of my story is this. I went thru a 3 ½ year court battle ending in 2002. The ending result was losing my 8 year old daughter. I found out she was not my biological child and still fought for all those years to keep her in my life in court until my attorney finally had to make a business decision and give up on my case. At the end I lost all visitation of my daughter and at the time had a $30,000 attorney bill. Needless to say I was devastated. I think it was worse then losing a child via death because she was still in the city, however, the mother was evil. I had to bite the bullet again, knowing that the constant fighting would be harder on our relationship by the continue games the ex would play. I didn?t want that for my daughter.
My way of dealing with this ended up being just existing rather then bettering myself. I stayed away from drugs, alcohol, and gambling. I just didn?t try to gain anything more other then working and living. This did great damage to my finances.   My savior was through my Church and doing the home repair. I have now healed from my self-pity and am ready to change my life. A funny note (I hope). I have read my share and probably 12 others share of self help/inspiration books in the last eight years. One point I remember is from one of the earlier books. It stated that a large percentage of men achieve success in the late 40?s and 50?s because their sexual drive starts to change. This is one of the reasons I know I am ready. LOL! Actually, I have another daughter and a 5 year old grandson that are most precious to me. As far as relationships, go I am out of one now and my passion is to become successful and be able to continue giving back in both my senior home owners and also thru other ways.   I am currently doing home repair to get through the winter.
I have been doing home repair for 15 years and lawn sprinkler repair for ten years, spending the last 2 ½ years working for a sprinkler company. The owner had stated if I worked for 3 years and helped through her husband?s illness, that I would be able to buy the company. After three years of seeing how she operated, I decided I couldn?t be part of what was going on.   I have over the winter, networked and believe I will have a very strong sprinkler business as soon as the spring start up season arrives. (Late March-Early April).   I have only about $18,000 dollars of current debt, mostly a car. The $10,000 dollar loan I will be requesting will be to make the next two months a little less stressful. It will go into a savings account (to be used like a line of credit). I will use it to do some advertising, licensing, insurance, and buying some equipment, and other expenses at this time a total of $5,000-$6,000. I hope to leave the rest in the account as a buffer.
From networking and my years of experience and other contacts coming my way, I believe I will have a substantial business my first year. (About everyone, I know and work for have told me to go into business for myself and they would be glad to keep using my services).   I have no problem paying the High Risk Rate, because I know that my current situation while stemming from the behavior of how I dealt with losing my daughter is my responsibility. I have always accepted being responsible for my actions or inactions and always will.   I do know that now I am ready to commit my life to a life of prosperity so that I may be successful and give to others. I have just had a physical and am very good health.
Thank you for your time and consideration of my particular endeavor.

  Respectfully Intended,
