Eric's Credit Community

Here is a bit about myself.  I am finishing a degree in Mathematics this May, and will become a teacher.  I work early mornings for UPS and I also work the afternoons as a tutor, making an average of $22 per hour helping others with course work.  I was surprised to see that my credit rating is an E.  I make my payments on time but my credit cards are near their limits, and I have one default that is a cell phone bill that I am currently paying on.

My expenses are $583 rent, $150 electric, $33 water, and $55 phone.  My credit cards and debt total $490 a month that I am paying, bringing everything to $1400 per month on average.  I make an average of $600 per week, leaving $900 - $1000 per month for food and gas, other living expenses, and for savings.  I will have no problem making the monthly payment on this loan.  I will use this to consolidate some debts, pay for the remainder of this semester, buy some things for graduation, and I will add what is left to my savings account.  I am looking ahead and planning for the next few months, and this loan will help me with my goals.

I want to continue to work on my future and this loan will help in many ways.  I plan to pay this off before the three years, and my first priority after graduation this May will be to not only increase my income, but to also improve my credit.  I think prosper.com is a great idea and way to help others, and hopefully soon I will also become a lender.  Thank you for this chance and your consideration.
