Hello. I have two credit cards (Providian and Discover) that are giving me horrible interest rates. I also have a line of credit with a local credit union that is giving me a great rate, but unfortunately is unable to increase the amount for me to consolidate. I find myself very fortunate not to have a huge mountain of debt compared to other people my age. Of course we all make mistakes and I am getting wiser as I age and do not want to have bad credit. I have seen bad credit completely ruin people and I'm doing all I can to prevent this. I am also getting this loan to purchase a much-needed laptop to work on for the small business a friend and I run. The majority of the work I do is done on a computer. I sold my computer when I moved to Tucson in order to help pay my rent while applying for jobs. (More information on my business below) Most of my credit card debt is from car repairs and expenses from my move from Phoenix AZ to Tucson AZ (Go Wildcats!). Just as the other potential barrowers on Prosper.com, I am looking for a second chance. I do not have too many expenses. My annual salary is $28,000. My monthly rent is $305 (I have a roommate) My cell phone bill $65 My utilities $80 My car expenses $200 Credit card payments $180 ($75 if I just pay the minimums) My allowance to myself $100 Total is around $930 After taxes I am taking home around $950 every 2 weeks. This leaves me with at least $900 left over for my prosper.com loan. I am not a risk. I am a responsible adult with a good head on his shoulders. I want to succeed in life, and I am trying to do this with Prosper.com. Now, a little about myself and my small business. I have been working in the home medical equipment and respiratory service industry for the past 4 years. I was first introduced to the industry by a small "mom and pop" shop as a delivery driver and quickly became interested in the business. Since my move to Tucson I became employed by the biggest DME company and industry leader Apria Healthcare. I have definitely shown my skills and have received praise by our regional operation managers for the work I have done. I am very proud of the work I am doing and I know I have much to offer any company. When I am not working my "nine to five", my best friend and I are currently running a small business, Enertia BPS, where we are making keynote presentations, video editing and spreadsheets for companies who either don't have the time themselves to do them, or just don't have the talent in house. We are currently working with a big name in the transportation industry, organizing their union contracts and making keynotes for the human resource department. Our end results look great and have been getting tons of positive feedback.
