My husband and I started a
Mobile Billboard business in , the 9th
largest advertising market in the . We took delivery of our
first truck the beginning of January 2007. Already we have three
advertisers on the truck and have made proposals to other companies totaling
$220,000 in annual revenue.
Our first truck took 6 months to be delivered. We anticipate 4-6 months
for delivery on the second. We are requesting this loan to be able to
order our second truck now. Others we
know in smaller markets like have three or more trucks and
are keeping advertising space at near capacity.
We?re planning ahead so as not to
lose the momentum we?re building now. My husband?s prosper loan
request was funded and was used to help start the business. Mine will be used to add an additional
truck. We feel this method of funding
our business to be preferable over other more traditional ways of including
investors who want ownership.As I mentioned in my profile
I have worked as a licensed Physical Therapist however, I am presently not
employed because we choose to home school my daughter. That is the reason for the high DTI. The business has the revenues to pay this
loan. My husband and I have never been
late on a payment for well over 20 plus years.
