Thanks for reading my posting. I am 26 and I work in Finance. I had incurred credit card debt in college and right after college at a start up job (the startup did not workout). Then I worked at a Investment Bank for 1.5 years before moving to another investment bank to work in Quantitative Trading. Then this Sept.(06), I was forced out due to changes in upper management as the firm did not want to take risk with its own capital. I lost my bonus which I was hoping $35,000 (I got 35K bonus with a base salary of 65K in 2005 but it was prorated and therefore I could not clean my debts). Instead of wiping off credit card debt in 2005, I decided to spend which was foolish. I found another job in Oct.(06) which pays base of 80K along with optional bonus ranging between 15K to 36K. I would like to pay off all my credit card debt so that I can start saving. I have bachelors in Engineering and I live in New York City. I have always paid on time and please feel free to ask me any questions.
