Hello All!

About Me: Im a father of two and a registered nurse here in Texas (got two jobs) As you can see in my  credit history i have no lates or delinquencies, the only problem that i got an HR rating bec. i never knew the value of establishing credit i don't need!!! And i paid all my debts early and ahead of schedule.

Reason for Loan: In my previous listings i indicated there for home improvememnt. But a friend of mine mentioned to me that a maximized credit card will affect my credit score. So i want to borrow the money now to consolidate my credit cards or for credit pay off. Bec. my credit score went down dramatically bec. of that.

Income and Expenses:

Income after tax: 4100.00

Expenses:

house mortgage- 1088.00
car loan -348.00car insurance- 90.00
utilities- 190.00
credit cards - 230 ( pay off with this loan )
internet- 56.00phone - 100.00
life insurance - 140
Groceries - 400

Total bills: 2642.00

Free cash flow after bills: 1558.00

Plan for Repayment: As you can see i have more than enough to pay for this loan and remember my  0/0/0  credit record  (it means 0 present delinquent 0 7yr delinquent and 0 public record). I hate lates so i myself wont do that to anybody.

Discussion For This Listing

this is one of the only HR ratings that I have ever seen that is 0/0/0 that is zero late ever... no public records... he is as solid as an AA borrower...

He has just maxed out his credit cards, and has pursued conventional lending... hence the lower credit rating...

This the best High Risk I have ever seen.

I thought it was strange too. There are other things on a credit report besides delinquencies and maxed cards that can drive down a credit rating. Like he got his first of 10 credit lines two years ago and maxed them out. The 000 is nice, as always. What does it mean when a guy gets his first credit in his mid to late 20's (or later: 2 kids, finished college) and then runs up some debt? I honestly don't know.

I do know this though: he's not AA, and he's not "no risk". The title of the ad "HR Ridiculous...." says bitter with a sense of entitlement to me. The "no risk" from the group leader is self-deception on her part, at best.

All that said, at 24%, might not be a bad bet. But 25% of Prosper HR loans have defaulted at 9 months, so the math looks bad bad bad.

i would then suggest to you to not look into any hr listings... this is by far one of the best... and as far as my opinion on the risk of the loan I don't feel there is any, there is no deception in an opinion... I have found a lot of people come on the forums read posts just to try to scrutinize!!! jrodgers32 or whatever your name is(unlike you have not deceived anyone with a made up name!!! anyone can be judged for most anything... now go lend to some AA borrower at 7.5% and I am the one that suggested the title... so sit back and watch this risky loan get funded and get paid on time!!!

Rebeccagradwohl,

I have looked at the listings in your group and thought you had some very promising loans. You have not however, IMHO, done a good job in having the listee provided the needed detail to make me comforatble that the loans could be repaid.

I was going to send you a PM to ask for information on the listings in your group when I found this thread (among others in this forum as well as in the Prosper forums). Trying to sell us lenders the loan isn't going to work, particular with me. Give me the facts, don't try to tell me a HR rated individual is an AA. He may not have any DQs but he has not shown a twenty plus year history of having handled and managed credit including mortgage financing and unsecured loans.

Vet your listings by authenticating their income and detail their current loan obligations. Tell us how they are going to pay back the loand - in detail. Send it to me as a PM or list it in the forums and I will bid. I have been investing for over 35 years so don't insult my intelligence by trying to tell me an HR is an AA.

Borrower has only had a credit history for two years, thus not alot of time to build up data for us to judge him on. And 5 recent inquiries for credit--what were those for? Needs $5000 for home improvement, but saves decent money each month from income? Why not just wait a couple months to save the money. Definitely not an AA for a reason.
