Hi Lenders,

My name is Scott and my fiance is Whitney.  We live in Santa Monica, CA and we'll be getting married in May.  I've been managing an Italian restaurant for over 6 years and Whitney is the marketing director of an internet company.  Also, I'm currently attending the University of Redlands - School of Business.

I am asking for a loan from members of Prosper because I have a small amount of debt owed to my credit cards and to the emergency room.  My balance (rounded) on Credit Card 1 is $1,500 and Credit Card 2 is $400.  My emergency room bill is $1,500.  I am doing this so that I can eliminate my high interest debt and begin building my credit to "A" level.  Whitney has great credit and I would like to get mine there also in order to get a better interest rate on our new home in the future.

The reason for my credit being at the level it currently stands is two fold.  The first, in order to put myself through school I've had to put tuition, books, and other costs that my student loans didn't fully cover on my credit cards thus carrying a balance.   The second, my debt to income ratio is 30%.  This is mainly due to my school loans; which I will not begin paying on until next year.

As you can see, I am not delinquent with any of my accounts, I'm in good standing with my creditors, have always paid off any and all debt, have no public records, no inquiries in the past 6 months, have had a steady job for over 6 years, and within the next couple of months will be a college graduate with a Business Management degree from a highly regarded private university.

I have attached two scanned photos of my most recent full monthly statements on both credit card 1 and 2 verying my figures used below.  Thank you for your time and confidence!  Below are my expenses before and after the Prosper loan.
