I'd like to start by pointing out that my DTI is very askew, because the vast majority of my income is not verifiable, I admit...so I just entered my income as $1....see my profile for some more details, if you like.

I'm an artisan, who used to make his living casting fantasy/sci-fi themed statues, miniatures, and so on, and selling them in my ebay store.  I had a nice 3 room apartment/work-studio, and still had a little money left over at the end of the month to tuck away into a retirement account.

Then, my fiancee and I decided to get a house together.  It was a fixer-upper, and I was to renovate it(I have a degree in Arch. Engineering, and I've done lots of construction).  During that time, I allowed my ebay store to go dormant.  But, my fiancee and I have since gone our seperate ways, and the house is hers now....time to start over.

I will use this loan to find another apartment/work-studio, and buy some consumable supplies needed to start up my craft again.  I still possess all my tools, so I don't need a big loan.  Even without having a workshop, I've already started producing some of my smaller castings again...but I really just need more workspace, if I want to be able to get my production back up to the levels I enjoyed in the past.

I own some raw acreage in Arizona that I have put on the market....if and when it sells (who knows, the way the market is right now), I will pay this loan off right away.  I have very little other debt....between a car loan and a credit card, I owe less than $5000.
