Having invested most of our savings in inventory (> $200,000.00), this loan request is to enable us augment initial operational expenses for our new business opened 6 months ago where we sell handmade stone sculptures imported from Zimbabwe. Our financials will indicate that the business is off to a good start. Our aim is to possibly pay off the loan before its maturity. My salary of $50,000 a year is more than enough to sustain us while we allow the business to gain firm financial ground.
We have also added a service feature to our business, arranging tours and safaris to East Africa. We have almost completed a group tour of 10 members scheduled to leave this July on a safari to witness the Great Migration, the largest mass movement of land animals on the planet, and one of the most breathtaking events in the animal kingdom. The cost per tourist is approx $6,000.00, and the mark-up is quite reasonable. This initial trip will set the pace for what we know will become a viable aspect of our business.We are extremely motivated and hardworking, and will earn the trust of bidders on this loan. |
