We (two) are a landscape business in Atlanta, GA. Plantworks Landscapes, LLC. We need to add a truck to handle the work and increased services. We have increased our service offerings into a turn key landscape solution provider. Truck to be 2003/4 16' gas straight truck, probably '04, mileage around 90,000 and will be from Penske Truck Leasing due to excellent care and maintenance and will be painted and lettered. Plantworks has operated as a sole proprietorship for 23 years. In 2004 a partnership was formed, and in May of 2006 was incorporated as a LLC. Business is good. Plantworks credit is good (Plantworks has credit cards ie: AMEX business, Home depot, Lowes, Chase Visa as well as a trade account). We bank at a Credit Union that does not do business loans. We are in the process of expanding our business and need financing for a truck. We have an excellent reputation and customer growth through referrals is increasing significantly. We are licensed and insured. My partner, Steve Ray, is a degreed horticulturist from Mississippi State (but he can read), and I am an accountant from the University of Georgia. We are both upper 40s. Steve has been in this business since college (25 years), and I have been involved since 2003. We are planning to increase our business and market ourselves through our website (under development, we have been so busy no time to set it up), referrals and sponsorship (ie: little league, etc--our niche is affluent residential business, families investing in and improving their homes with no time for landscaping). But first, we need a much larger vehicle which will be advertising in and of itself with lettering. Our advantage is that we are older, have education in the landscape field (horticulturist) and are very dependable and reliable with very good customer skills and communication to clearly elucidate what we offer and how it fits with customer needs and desires. |
