Who am I
I?m a 33 year old single mother of two. My children?s names are Cheyenne, age 14, & Cordell, age 10. I work for Sallie Mae Financial. I?ve been with the company for about 6 months and thoroughly enjoy my work.

What will I do with this loan
I will use this loan to pay off 2 signature loans. World Finance: $1,000.00 $ 24% interest. Pay off about $1,300.00. Wells Fargo: 1,000.00 @ 26%. This loan is actually in my sister?s name & was taken out to pay for my Mother?s Funeral. Pay off on my portion of the loan is roughly $1,200.00.

Explanation of current credit rating
I?ve been a single mother for 14 years. I?ve been married 3 times with always the same result. I seem to always find the men who use me the most. A lot of my credit problems stem from those marriages. Husbands that talked me into signing for things when my credit was good, promising to pay for them & then leaving me to hold the bag so to speak. Unfortunately, when it came time to pay for these things I had to choose between what the children needed & the bills my ex-husbands ran up. I?m trying to fix my credit now realizing that it a great deal more important to a single mother than one might have thought.

Debt to Income Ratio
The DTI reported by prosper is pretty accurate thought it does not consider my child support for the children. It also doesn?t take into account month to month bills of raising two children alone.

Why you can be assured I will pay you back
I have been with my present employer 6 months, but I?ve been on a waiting list to go to work with Sallie Mae for 2 years. Now that I?ve got my foot in the door, I?m not leaving any time soon. I?m at a point in my life were I want to be able to buy a home for me & my children, & fixing my credit is an important part of that. I?m also very passionate about being able to provide a better future for my children. My daughter is in high school now & already thinking about college. Working for Sallie Mae has shown me a great deal about paying for that education; again a good credit rating is important. I?m trying to repair the mistakes of my youth & provide a better future for my children.

My budget
Income - $1,440.00 gross a month, about $1,280.00 net income Child Support ? $550.00 per month

Rent ? $225.00
Utilities ? $200.00
Food ? $300.00
Car Insurance - $50.00
Loan payments ? $335.00 (This is the debt I?m looking to cancel out with this loan)
Gas - $150.00

Amount remaining to build savings, pay miscellaneous expenses & eliminate smaller credit issues and pay back loan - $570.00

Conclusion
Thanks for your consideration of my loan request. You can be assured that once I get my finances in order, I will do all that I can not to get into a mess like this again. I never realized how very important good credit was until mine was shot. Once I get this mess straightened out I can assure you it will never happen again.
