Hello! So I love my iBook, but its old and sadly its time has come. It is badly in need of repairs and upgrades so I decided I'd be better off trading up. I want to get a refurbished MacBook Pro from Apple. I REALLY wanted a brand new one, but I've entered the fiscally responsible portion of my life now, and decided it made much more sense to go with a refurb. In addition to basic computing needs, I want to do some video editing too so it will work nicely. I have a good steady job at a Film and Television Studio (my boss is a friend so it would be REALLY hard to get fired) and I always pay my bills on time. I have worked here for about three years now. Since the minimum loan amount is about $1000 more than the computer I need, the extra will go to payoff a higher-interest credit card balance so I can close the card. I'm tired of being at the mercy of credit card companies. That is also the reason I've listed this loan at a lower interest rate than is typical for my situation. Since I am in my Fiscally Responsible phase of my life, there is no way I'm going to add any more high interest debt. If I can't get a loan through here I'll put up with the old computer until my credit score improves. My credit rating is lower because of a small personal bankruptcy I had 9 years ago, I was in college and had just discovered the ?joy? of credit cards. Yes, I?ve learned my lesson. Volkswagen Credit also seems to think I?ve learned my lesson as they are a top tier lender and they gave me a fairly low-interest car loan about 8 months ago.Monthy Budget:(my paycheck fluctuates slightly as I work a lot of overtime, also I recently got a raise)Net paycheck $2600 Expenses: Rent $825 Gas $90 Net $21 TV $28 Auto $29 Auto Ins. $141 Rent Ins. $25 Utilities $53 Gym $39 Capital One $150 HSBC $62 (this payment will decrease after Prosper loan) Paypal $33 (this payment will go away with the Prosper loan) Food $150Total: $1910 Leftover for Prosper payment: about $600 |
