I'm 23 years old, with a 7 year old son and expecting a little girl. I work as a professional hairstylist going on 3 ½ years. I also do hair on the side, about 6 extra hair colors or cuts a week. So although my reported income is low, I make extra money on the side. I've always been responsible with my credit, making PAYMENTS ON TIME 'til a year ago. My credit fell in a moment of stupidity, I decided to apply for a loan of credit to buy, my then boyfriend a motorcycle. I ended up having to pay for it. To make payments of $345 a month I had to scramble to find funds in order for it not to be late. Instead, I ended up neglecting a couple of my own credits causing THEM to be late. Lately, I've been working less due to unsafe work place so it has been hard keeping up with my expenses. But things have improved...I have been making my payments on time. I saved to pay off the last $3000 of my car loan payment so I am free and clear. All I have is the motorcycle and a few other debts to erase. All I'm asking is for a chance to prove myself and raise my credit. If you bid on my listing I SINCERELY promise: I WILL NOT LET YOU DOWN. Making my payments on time will be my top priority each month. Once I go back to work full-time I will pay back my loan ASAP. All I need is a little help towards the end. I am 32 weeks along. I will be going back full-time 6 weeks after my due date of March 7th. What I will use the loan for: I will use $1000 to pay off 3 credit cards, 2 for $250 and $500. The other $3000 will pay part of the $7000 bike loan, leaving a balance of $4,000 left. Once I get it down, I am hoping to sell it in the spring/summer, when motorcycle sales are the highest. Then I will be finished with that loan and I can focus on paying Prosper back. I will be left with $1500 to pay Prosper back. Monthly monetary info: Previous full time net income: $1600-$2200 a month. This is where I hope to be when I go back to work full-time. Current net income is: $1200. I also have extra unreported income of $400-$600 a month through tips and side jobs. *Net income after payroll deductions from all sources: $ 1000 reported. I also have a wonderful man (my baby's daddy) helping me. His income: $ 1600 monthly. Total monthly Income excluding father to be: $ 1000 reported with $600 on side from unreported: $1600 Here are my monthly expenses: Mortgage/Rent: $ 0 I live w/ parents Phone: $ 40 Motorcycle loan: $345 Car and Motorcycle Insurance: $ 175 Food, expenses for children: $ 200 Credit cards and loans not paid with my Prosper loan: $ 100 Total Monthly Expenses : $ 860 I will have approximately $400- $600 left to make the payments on my Prosper loan. I am finally in a place where with a little help, I can get back on my feet. I have no worries about going back to work full time, since I have free day care. I am ready and willing. I want my credit back to the way it was. I am hoping that with Prosper I can achieve my goals. If I have a positive experience here, I will definitely join as a lender and help out those who need help. My promises are to make PAYMENTS ON TIME and JOIN as a future LENDER. |
