I am a mechanical engineering grad from Texas A&M.  I ran a shop during college to help pay for school and living expenses that built and repaired race cars. I am now a full time engineer for a defense contractor, making approx $60,000 a year.  I love racing, and pursued it as a career for several years but never QUITE made it. I was however very succesful, you might have even seen me in a magazine or on TV (I have been in Road & Track and Racer Magazine in at least one issue for the last 3 years). So you could say I am pretty easy to get a hold of!

Unfortunatly, due to some unforseen circumstances I accumulated some credit card debt I am not proud of.  With out going into too much detail, I had one customer that decided not to pay his rather large bill and another investment I made in a company that a friend and I were starting that backfired(in his defence, his wife randomly up and left him and he couldn't fullfill his end of the bargin, so I had to cover his butt with my credit!)

I am here to secure a loan to pay off my credit card, and will NOT be gaining debt.  This money will go directly to my credit card.

My current approx monthly income(after taxes/etc) is $3200
Bills:(i have a roommate)
rent 625
util 75
cable/sat: 50
phone line and DSL service: 50
cell phone $100
student loan payment: 205
truck payment (01 GMC Sierra, only owe about $6k on it) 194
insurance: 50
Credit Card 1: 200
Credit Card 2: 200 (note that both these will go away!)
gas 250

This leaves a considerable amount of disposable income. I am not getting this loan because I want MORE debt or more money to play with, I just want to pay off these 17% credit cards with a lower interest rate loan.

I am not married, dont have kids and have full health/dental/etc insurance.  My life is about as stable as it gets! thanks
