I am a professional working at U. Michigan (see proof of
employment photo) with a Master's degree. I acquired credit card debt getting my career
started but now have a rewarding job. I am focused on getting out of credit card debt and feel that I am not able
to get ahead making payments to credit card
companies. You should earn the interest income rather than the large
corporations.
I handle the finances for our
household and pay for all of these necessities myself, so the debt incurred jointly shows in my Debt-to-Income ratio, but not the income I receive
($1500/month) from my partner. I pay all of our joint bills on time
and have been paying more than the minimum payment on all credit
accounts. We have a budget that we have lived comfortably
with for the past 2 years:
