 I recently had a listing and it came so VERY close to being funded but unfortunately the listing expired before it was completely funded. I am listing again because I believe the Prosper program can and will assist me during my time of need. Right now I am in need financial assistance and my current situation is only temporary.

Within the last couple of years, I experienced a wearisome divorce and due to the divorce, unfortunately I had to file for bankruptcy, which was one of the most embarrassing and difficult things I have ever had to go through. But there is always light at the end of the tunnel. I feel like I am beginning life over and it is a wonderful feeling. Although 20 years of life have ended, I feel revitalized and I have gone on with my new life and started making major strides towards the rebuilding of my financial foundation.

I grew up in Military family and exceptional values were instilled in me, namely integrity, responsibility, and the value of hard work. Those attributes remained with me throughout my life and they have been the foundation for all my endeavors.

I have always been a very creative and resourceful person, which led me to begin making business cards, brochures, programs, and invitations for my friends and co-workers. In February 2006 I registered my business in Clayton County, Georgia and I am a member of the Chamber of Commerce.

The company I work for is going through a merger and I have been offered a severance package which is valued at $50,000.00. My last day with my present company is 05-15-06 and I will receive the severance package in June 2006. Although $50,000.00 would allow me to stay home for a couple of months, I have already been hired by another company and will begin work on 06-01-06.

There are a couple of things that are needed by me at the present which I do not have the financial resources for. I have a 2001 Ford Explorer which needs some extensive repair work, as well as a set of tires. With the start up of my business, I am also in need of a new three-in-one (i.e. laser printer, copier, fax machine), I have two pending jobs at the present time.

Because I will be receiving my severance package in June, I plan to repay the loan in June. At that time I will also pay off my vehicle and the three credit cards I currently have. At that time I will be debt free and I anticipate remaining debt free. Because I understand how hard it is to start over financially, I also plan to utilize some monies to assist others, through Prosper, who are in need of emergency loans and loans to assist in rebuilding their credit.
