I have been married for 4 years now, and my wife and I are blessed with one son and one daughter on the way! My wife is a full-time mom and I am active duty in the U.S. Air Force. I am stationed at Vance AFB, OK where I am serving as an Instructor Pilot in the T-38 Talon. Each day, we train student pilots that are in the final half of their year-long pilot training course. When they leave our squadron, they graduate UPT (pilot training), get their Air Force Pilot Wings, and are sent off to follow-on training in either a fighter or bomber aircraft. My job is rewarding, my family is great, and I feel very blessed in my life. I tell you of this to give you an idea of who I am, so that you will feel comfortable in my career stability and reliability to repay. I have never missed a payment on anything in my life. I also have job security (ie I owe the Air Force 8 more years of active service due to my pilot training commitment, so I couldn't leave even if I wanted to-:).
If this loan is funded, I will be using the money to pay off my credit card in order to raise my credit score (i.e. by way of less revolving debt). I am offering a higher interest rate than the average (according to prosper.com) for my credit grade and DIT in an effort to get my loan request funded quickly.
