The purpose for this loan is to pay off my current auto loan of $3,813 and a credit card balance of $1,700. I am a small time lender on prosper, $550 invested. I thought my fellow prosperites might as well make the money I am paying the banks. I do not plan for the loan to last the full 3 years. I will probably pay it off in 1 1/2 to 2 years. I work for the Postal Service as a letter carrier since June of 2006. Before the Post Office I worked for Georgia-Pacific for 5 years before losing my job while deployed to Iraq as an Army Reservist.
