My name is Megan. I was so close to funding the prior request the last time so I have raised the interest rate in an attempt to fund the loan. I am married to the best man in the world and the mother of two children. I have a two year associate science degree and I am working on my bachelors degree in art for middle/high school history.

My husband lost his job back in June because the company that he worked for was moving overseas. He applied for the job of being a police officer, but had to wait till they had an opening. When he lost his job he went to work with a friend until the police department called. My husband started working for the police department in the middle of October and is expecting a 3.5% raise in January.

I would like a loan for $4326 to pay off my credit card because the interest rate is high. I learned the hard way about credit cards. I know that I have another credit card, but it was suggested that I try to get a loan to pay off one. I owe $5113 on the other one and my monthly payments are around $180 a month and I will continue paying that and pay extra to work on getting it paid off faster. I first got one when I quit my job to stay at home with my children. I got several more and some were charged off, but I have gone back and paid those off. I know that I have raised my credit score since then, but the place where I bank you have to have a certain credit score before they will give you a loan. I would like a clean start and make my payments into one payment a month with a cheaper interest rate. I will be having my payments taken out of my bank account automatically so that ALL of my payments will be made ON TIME! I will be able to pay this off in three years When I am able I would like to pay extra so that I can paid it off quicker. I saw the advertisement for this in Reader's Digest and I think it's a super way for people to help other people and I hope that in the future that I will be able to help someone like myself in their time of need.

According to my credit report I have one deliquent account. That is not true. ALL of my bills are current. I believe I am a E with a FICO score of 540. The problem was that one of the credit cards (First Consumers National Bank) never reported to the bureau that I paid it in full so it still shows active. I have called the company and they show that it was paid in full. I paid it off over two years ago and they are correcting the error. I would like to pay off my credit cards so that I will be able to start putting some money back in case of an emergency and to continue school. I believe that consolidating payment through Prosper will help me able to do more for my family. My family means the world to me.
