ABOUT ME: I am the single mother of two (ages 11 & 12) and a permanently disabled Gulf War Veteran. I have a steady monthly income of 3084.00 after taxes with periodic increases. This is from my Veterans Disability and Child Support. My Child Support is done through the Oregon court system so it will be constant until my children are at least 18. HR RATING EXPLANATION: Up until three years ago my credit rating was stellar. But then I got sick and was unable to work. Mine had always been the predominant income in the family. This resulted in a very nasty divorce because my ex-husband could not handle my illness or the children while I was hospitalized. I was fortunate enough to get my children (they are absolutely the best) but I also got stuck with all the debt. I filed for bankruptcy and this was discharged in 02/06. The delinquencies on my credit report were covered in this discharge and I am in the process of correcting this discrepancy with a company called Lexington Law. The inquiries are the result of me trying to reestablish myself too soon after my bankruptcy in order to purchase a house. I now realize how futile this was but unfortunately hindsight is always 20/20. If my loan is funded I vow to you that I will stay active with my group not only for the life of the loan but for many years to come. This will not only keep me motivated to make my loan payments my primary focus but it will also allow me the opportunity to prove myself, get my credit restored and keep my DTI down. I am determined to become a very active member of Prosper. I WILL NOT MISS A PAYMENT!!!!! My payment will be automatically withdrawn and sent before ANY OTHER TRANSACTIONS. DEBT PAID WITH THIS LOAN: Aaron?s Furniture 2874.62 Discover 250.00 HSBC 996.76 Capital One 897.20 MONTHLY FINANCIAL DETAILS: Total Monthly Income: 3084.00 Rent 500.00 (water & electric included) Phone 100.00 Gas 50.00 Transportation 350.00 (my truck is a gas hog but it is paid for) Food 500.00 Insurance 50.00 DishTV 50.00 Internet 10.00 Misc (clothing, entertainment, dues, etc.) 175.00 Feed 350.00 Total Monthly Expenses: 2135.00 I will have 1149.00 left to make the payments on my Prosper loan and I fully intend to pay it off early. CLOSING REMARKS: Obviously, my credit grade is at the low end of the spectrum. I am determined to change that so I can purchase a home and rebuild my once excellent rating. I further attest to you that I am committed to becoming a lender because I have been there. I am just asking for the opportunity to prove that I am a dedicated and capable team player. Please give me this chance. YOU WON?T BE SORRY!!! Thank you for taking the time to read my listing and for being a lender. |
