Hi, Im new to this and decided I wanted to learn more about Prosper and through the process pay off part of my high interest credit card. I have a very stable work history, working as a real estate programmer and have been employed for 13 years straight in the transportation industry doing IT management now programming for a real estate company. I have a relatively good FICO - 719, and would like to get it up to 800. My last 10 years have been perfect and Im waiting for one negative item from a rental property I owned in 1992 to fall off. I am hoping transactions through prosper, ie borrowing and re-lending may improve my score. Since I own a house this is a very good loan and do not really need the money but would like to create a few loans to get all my personal credit interest rates down to 12% or less (I have 2 credit cards outstanding with about $8000 in debt at 18%). Since I am always doing home improvement, and options investing they continue to hover while I pay the big bucks to Providian. Thank you for your consideration! Rob |
