ABOUT ME:

I am 33 years old, married for over a year with a 6 month old baby and two step-children ages 11 and 18. I have been with my current employer for over 9 months now and I am not planning to leave this company. Before this, I had several contract jobs through an employment agency (that?s how I got this job permanently). I also go to night school full-time. I am planning to get my degree in Business with a major in Information Systems and I have one more semester at Community College before I transfer to Cal State Fullerton.

EXPLANATION OF BAD CREDIT:

To be completely honest, I started out very responsible when I living with my mother because she always told me to pay my bills on time but I was young and like young kids, I never took my mother seriously. I wanted bigger and better things or what my friends had and soon enough, I started applying for different credit cards and got my self into debt. The credit lines were not big because I also had a large car payment and could pay the creditors. Soon, these all with to delinquencies and I had lost my job at the same time. My car was leased at the time and I had to voluntarily return the vehicle which explains the repossession on the credit report. This all happened after my first divorced which forced me to move back with my mom. Now, my life is completely different. I got remarried and I have a 6 month old daughter which I love with all my heart. It is amazing how having children can change your life around because your whole life revolves around them and every mistake you make will affect them in the future. I also have two step-children. One is 11 years old girl and the other is 18 years old and he moved out on his 18th birthday. I don?t want to drag this on but I can honestly say that I am much more responsible now and if I get this loan funded, I will take priority in paying it back because my goal is to get out of debt, rebuilding my credit and hopefully give something back to Prosper!

WHAT I WILL DO WITH THE MONEY LOANED TO ME:

I am borrowing the lowest amount that I can borrow in my state. With this loan, the whole amount would go to one of my wife high interest Bank of America credit card. You might ask why I don?t just worry about my creditors? Well, if you knew the interest rate on this card, you would want to pay it off as soon as possible. I know that it won?t pay off the balance but at least it will lower the interest rate which in terms will leave me some money to take care of my stuff. I realize that I am a high risk borrower and that?s why I want to start off slow instead of requesting the full amount.

MY MONTHLY FINANCIAL DETAILS:

Net income after payroll deductions from all sources: $ 2,317.34
Spouse's Income: $ 0 (staying home with my daughter)
Total monthly family Income $ 2,317.34

Rent: $ 400
