I am a 27 year old married man who works as a Medicaid advocate at UNC Chapel Hill Hospital. Following my graduation from North Carolina State University in 2002, I decided to go into the Peace Corps for two and a half years. I worked as a water and sanitation technician primarily. I am interested in acquiring this loan to pay off wedding expenses from our wedding ceremony last year. This would in turn allow me to put a little more in savings and increase the amount I pay towards my student loans. Since the paychecks from my primary and secondary jobs are consistent, I am able to make a budget at the beginning of each month. Every month, I net $1850. Here is a breakdown of my expenses: $600-rent, $200-food, $100-electric bill, $35-cellular phone, $15-land line phone, $160-student loan, $70-bank loan to pay off wedding expenses from 2005, $60 for savings, $200-Mastercard, $60-Visa, $30-internet service, $35-Best Buy, $30-monthly furniture payment, $30-laptop payment, $30-car insurance, $40-loan from my brother, $200 for personal expenses. Our old Toyota Camry is paid off. I calculated that at or below the maximum interest rate for this loan I would be making about the same monthly payment as what I am paying for my bank loan. So the Prosper loan would replace my bank loan payment and I would save from having to make 5-6 extra monthly payments. So this would not be a problem. Thanks in advance! |
