Hey everyone! My name is Nichole and I'm married with three kids. My oldest is headed off to college next year! She's been recruited for an Ivy League gymnastics team!! With this being said I am trying to save in order to help her through college as Ivy schools don't offer athletic scholarships. In order to do this I would like to consolidate several credit card balances (one is high due to a school loan transfer) as well as be able to pay her down payment for admission (yippee - I paid this already!). I've been late a few times in the past 7 years however it is has most always been due to either dealing with a "crisis of the moment" or having to replace a home appliance, etc. However - I ALWAYS repay creditors as they are today's life line to a better life!I would greatly appreciate your help and would fully intend on repaying this loan ahead of schedule.In looking at the credit cards I'm going to pay off I have decided to close two of them so that they will be totally closed once I pay them off: MBNA - Balance is approx. $15,638 - interest rate is 19% - monthly payment is approx $440 AMEX - Balance is approx. $2,463 - interest rate is about 2% - monthly payment is approx $300 Soutwest Visa - Balance is approx. $3,100 - interest rate is about 16% - monlthy payment is approx. $350 Summary MBNA: 15,638 AMEX: 2,463 Southwest: 3,100 Total: 26,201 Monthly payment total: $1,090 Any help you could provide is greatly appreciated.
