Why this loan is needed?. I am ready to take out a second loan to begin working on my group once again. I will be taking out a loan for $22,000 for the 3 separate reasons listed below. 1. Marketing Prosper.com and the Utopialoans.com Group. * We will create branded items that we are going to distribute at various events. * To pay a consultant (friend) from the marketing firm A.D.D. for some creative advice. * To restart our Adwords campaign on Google to drive people to Prosper. * To start a targeted direct mail and Email marketing program to drive traffic to Prosper. * To hire a part time person (an elderly client) to handle webmastering duties and marketing. * Other ideas to come... 2. Continuing to make-up with our generous lenders. * We will start making "Community Payments" for a few of the LATE loans that I promised would be paid on time, everytime. Well, even after vetting, we have found that there are PLENTY of folks that had no intention of paying even one payment. We will continue paying off those loans that we Promised lenders we would pay off! In the end the lenders will get their money back for these loans (at the expected rate AND they can get a great rate on this loan too!) To make a minor repair to our rental house. How I intend to repay this loan?. Looking above, you will see the income I receive from Prosper each month as a group leader. I would easily be able to pay this loan off over the next 3 years. My after tax surplus (income minus expenses) is around $4,000 a month. (Not included in that calculation is my wife?s salary of $3,800 after taxes each month. ========================================================================================== Prosper Lenders, I cannot begin to tell you how happy I am with the progress of Prosper. I was very fortunate to find Prosper.com in early February, then even more fortunate to get involved in March as a Group Leader, Lender, and Borrower. It is an amazing company and an amazing concept. It has also been a rollercoaster ride to say the least, and I have made some wonderful friends, and unfortunately, a few enemies. My commitment to Prosper has faded in the past two months as I have experienced one of the most wonderful days of my life (my marriage) and one of the most tragic (my mother?s stroke). With the hectic days behind me, I am going to recommit myself to Prosper, to my group members, and to any other individual borrowers and lenders who care to back our group.
