Everyone,

First I'd like to thank you for taking the time to review my listing.  I will be getting married on January 20, 2007 and my fiance and I have exhausted our financial resources (we've spent $15,000 of our own money -- we haven't charged anything on credit cards) to pay for our wedding.  The average cost of a wedding in the U.S. is nearly $30,000 Check out CNN Money news story: http://money.cnn.com/2005/05/20/pf/weddings/

The funds borrowed from Propser lenders will be used to pay the balance of the wedding.  I plan to have the complete balance paid off by June 2007 (I will use my tax refund and the proceeds from the sale of my apartment to completely pay off this loan).  I have an excellent credit history (I?ve never been late with any payments) and I?ve worked at my current place of employment, Time Warner, for almost 10 years, so my income is very steady.

I am a hardworking woman in New York, who has lived here since 1994.  I?m originally from Cleveland, OH, but came to NYC to go to New York University.  After graduation, I decided to stay here and the city has been very good to me.  I?ve worked in publishing for almost 10 years, but I?ve always had the entrepreneurial bug.  I?m a fan of Robert Kyosaki (?Rich Dad, Poor Dad Author?) and I was inspired to invest in real estate.  So far, in addition to my owning my apartment, I purchased a home for a Hurricane Katrina family in Houston (I?m proud to say they are back on their feet).  I recently met Meg Whitman, CEO of eBay, at eBay LIVE this year and I opened up an eBay store called The IvoryGem Boutique (it?s doing very well).  In short, I?ve always been financially responsible and a go-getter.  I am seeking a hand-up and not a handout and look forward to soon becoming a lender on prosper in addition to benefiting from the opportunity to borrow funds, as well.  Thank you so much!
