ABOUT ME: My name is Erik and I am a 29 year old paramedic in Alabama. It has only been a few years since my return to the U.S. When my father retired from the army he decided to stay overseas and work abroad. I returned to the states when he passed away, at which time I started life over. I returned with nothing and can not say it has been an easy transition. However, I am the type of person that would like people to notice my accomplishment and not my hardships. I guess I have just never been the sympathy seeking type. Upon my return I began going to school perusing a career as a paramedic. After graduation I began rebuilding everything, my life, my credit, and my career. I love my job and work for a great Ambulance company. I work twenty four hour shifts followed by two days off. In the near future I will be testing for a paramedic position with the city fire department, earning a second salary. I am proud of all that I have acquired in such a short time and feel the next step I would like to take is marriage. I have a wonderful woman in my life and an amazing four year old. I am requesting this loan for the purpose of paying off my credit card debts. I would like to feel financially stable before getting married. I believe this would be possible with my credit card debts gone. A small portion of this loan will also be used to aid with the furnishing of our house creating a more child friendly environment. EXPLANATION OF MY CREDIT: I have never had any delinquencies and I pay my bills on time. I used my credit to start life over and relocate.
