Greetings! I am requesting a $6000 loan to pay an array of bills that I have gotten way behind on. I'm a husband, a father, and I have been gainfully employed with the same company for nearly seven years. We welcomed a second child early this year, and had originally prepared for my wife to take 6 months off from work. Because the baby still doesn't sleep through the night, and we don't have family around here to help us, my wife is taking more time off than originally planned and we began to fall behind. Overall, much more time, effort, and expenses than we expected, but still very much worth it!!! During the past several months, I have resorted to payday loans to make the rent and was hit from time to time with NSF bank fees at the end of the month. This has resulted in hundreds of dollars of fees and interest which makes the cycle get even harder. Add in two unexpected car repairs (for about $1000) and it has made things harder. I was able to borrow from family to take care of the payday loans, but we still have a few other items to catch up on. A loan would give us a clean slate to work from. To be able to bring current all these bills at once will free us from payday loans, extra fees and penalties and let us start moving forward. We have taken many steps to cut expenses. We've clipped coupons religiously, changed local phone service to cheaper one, we drive a lot less, no eating out, cut back on new clothes, and we don't buy anything we don't actually need. We've been extremely thrifty. Income: $47,600 annual. Paid Bi-Weekly. Net pay $2,931 month. Expenses: Rent & utilities $1465 Groceries & Living Expenses $350 Car Insurance & Gas $150 Formula, Diapers, etc. for baby $250 IRS Payment $50 Phone $45 Credit Cards $50 Child Care $100 Total Expenses: $2460 Leaving $471 which clearly covers the $232 Prosper payment What Prosper Loan will Pay: Loan from family $1500 Backed up Childcare Expenses Owed to Ex $900 IRS (to avoid further interest and penalties) $2000 Pay off Accounts on Credit Report $900 Payday loans $600 Savings $101 **Minimum request for MD is $6,001 I will be making more money soon as I'm due a six-percent raise in late December. Further, a big expense (baby formula - $200 a month) will be gone in January as the baby switches to regular milk. Also, my wife fully intends to return to work in the near future. At that time, we will concentrate heavily on savings. Thank you for your consideration, and I am available for any questions. |
