Background History:  Hello Everyone!  I am 42 years old, divorced and currently employed as a Tax Manager for a nationally known organization.  I have been employed by the same company for the last 5 years and just received a promotion in June.   I also have a consulting business that I started this October (2006) to help pay for college tuition and other debt.    I have two daughters attending college, and a son in high school.

Explanation of Credit History:  My credit grade was effected by several events that occurred in 2001, the flooding of my home as a result of Tropical Storm Allison 2001, being laid off from my job  and the dissolution of my marriage.   I did not purchase flood insurance when my home was built 1998 because, according to property census at that time, we were not in a flood plain.  Everything that I owned and accumulated over the last 19 years was lost in the flood.

I exhausted my savings on repairing my home and my credit suffered because I was not able to make regular timely payments to my creditors.

Loan Use:   I have lowered the loan request amount and have developed an aggressive plan to pay off the remaining credit debts within the next 12 months.  This loan will go towards the balance of my credit card debt and more importantly, help rebuild my credit by making on time schedule payments for a new account.
