I am here to consolidate my bills and get out of debt!  It has become abundantly clear to me how much control credit has over life. I am on the warpath to get out of debt and raise my credit score!     My wife and I have put together a plan to reduce our debt significantly and to resolve some accounts that I took out in college.  I accept responsibility for them, but must admit that I used them without fully understanding the ramifications.  I have negotiated with two creditors to pay reduce amounts in order to resolve them once and for all.

Debts to Be Paid by the Prosper Loan:
Credit One Bank (credit card), $1440.00 owed, (charge off)
Midland Credit Mgnt (credit card), $866.00 owed, (collection)
Emory Credit Union (car loan), $675.00 owed, (current)

We have no problem being able to pay on time, every month.  We are both currently employed, myself for three years and my wife at the same job for over 15 yrs. We are committed to getting out of debt and getting our financial house in order.

Please see budget on Member Page

Credit- We fell behind on some of our accounts back in 2002 when my wife went back to school full-time.  Our mortgage and a couple of medical bills suffered the most and ended up as negetive items on our credit reports.   Since graduating in ?04, my wife has gone back to work full-time, and I have a full and part-time job.   For my current accounts, everything has been paid as agreed since 07/05.  On my report, I presently have 2 collections and 1 charge off.  Two are credit cards, one of which was charged off and the other collection is a medical bill that I simply didn?t know about until it showed up on my report.     The medical bill I will be paying off with my next pay check (12/15).  All together the Proper loan will pay off 2 credit cards and the balance of the car loan.
