First a little about myself. My wife and I have been married 25 years. I still live in the same town I grew up in. I have had a career in law enforcement for the past 23 years. I have worked for my current employer for the past 18 years. I currently make about $58800.00 a year. My wife makes more, but I am not including her income for the loan. Our bills are our mortgage, her car, our large boat and some credit cards. I will turn 45 in a couple of weeks and decided I needed a challenge. For the past month I have been getting in shape and loosing weight. My goal is to take part in the Everglades Challenge. It is a 300 mile small boat race along the coast of Florida. Problem is my current boat is too big. There are a lot of boats that could be used in the challenge, but the one I am looking for has only had 417 hulls made since 1981. Normally when they show up on the used boat market they go fast. I have found one and hope to purchase it. As you can see I always pay my bills. THE DTI IS INCORRECT. Since my wife's income is not included, and all or our bills are joint accounts it makes it look like the DTI is too high. I am relisting at he instruction of my group leader so he can endorse my loan after I sent him supporting documents. |
