My employer is the USPS. I have been employed by them for more then 8 years. I am a hard worker who is very dependable. I have always been employed. My first job was when I was only 14 years old! I am now 37 and the time has seemed to fly by.
My credit isn?t perfect. I had to file a BK7 in 2000, and it will be off my credit report in the summer of 2007. The reason for this was Credit Card Debt. I spent too much for my income and then suffered an illness. I tried my best to use a Credit Counseling Service and made several payments that they arranged, however, within a short period of time some creditors tried to change the terms of the payment arrangement. Due to me not being 100% well and being in debt over my head, I was unable to pay any more to the creditors then had been agreed to by the Counseling Service. I was unable to continue and finally did the worst thing that I have ever done. I filed for Bankruptcy. I won?t say it ruined my life, but, it wasn?t the best thing I ever did. I second guess that decision a lot. I wish I had had a different way of helping myself back then.
Since the BK7 I have paid every bill on time. I have worked extremely hard to improve my credit score.
Why do I want this loan? I am presently paying approximately 22% on 3 credit cards. I really would like to get a lower interest rate so that I can put more money into savings each month and save enough for a down payment on a home in a few years.
If you need any information please feel free to contact me via email.

Thank you for your time and consideration.
