I am looking for a loan to pay off my credit card debt, which includes my plane ticket, ring and my expenses while in Europe. My fiance is studying abroad for the semester and I went over to visit her, while over there I proposed. At the time it seemed to make sense to put it on the credit card and pay for it when I got home. Well, I'm home and who knew bills still come even when I'm in Eurpoe. Chalk it up as being young and stupid, I would be both. I am going back to school to finish my bachelor's degree, I am currently living at home for the semester going back to San Francisco State University in the spring. I only need one class to graduate, so I will be working full time as soon as I can get a job. I am currently employed part time at a law firm in Sacramento, making $350 every two weeks. However, I start a new job next week in the Bay Area. Making $15 an hour, which works out to $31,200 a year or $1842.84 a month after taxes you can look it up at www.paycheckcity.com (I have nothing to do with that site, but find it very helpful.) Which as everyone knows is not a lot of money, especially in the Bay Area. However, I'm going to be sharing a room with my fiance and we will be sharing an apartment with her roomate, so my rent is only going to be $400/month. My portion of the cable bill will be $40/month and my portion of the electrcity bill (which averages 35-50) is $15-20/ month. I have a cell phone bill which is $75 month. We are going to be splitting food, so I figure I will range between $300-450/month. And my transportation a month will be the subway, at $6 a day, 5 days a week, 4 weeks a month the cost is $120. Which gives me a total of $1105 a month. This leaves me $737.84 extra per month. And I know everyone borrowing money on this site is ahead on their budget, but I am starting a new job next week so I am slightly different in the fact that I went into debt with a low paying job and am borrowing to ensure that I can pay my rent for the next few months without drowning in credit card debt. My current rate on my credit card is 29.9% and is maxed out at $4500. I need to pay my tution for next semester which is $1,036 and $200 for books. As well, when I was in Europe as I said the bills kept coming. My cell phone has been turned off and won't be turned on until I pay the late fees of $550 and then I have to pay for the month of December which is $75. I also owe money on my home phone as I called her not realizing that it cost me $4.25 per minute. My home phone bill is $300 this month and $300 next month. I have sense stopped using that phone for obvious reasons. This total comes to just short of $7000. So after my first month of work I will be able to make all my payments that I owe, including my rent and this loan payment. I am really grateful to anyone who bids. Please feel free to contact me. I will answer all questions as soon as I can. |
