I am a single parent of a 18 year old girl that is a college freshman. I am a dental hygienist that has been practicing for 18 years and at the current dental office for 10 years. I do not receive child support for my daughter because of him leaving the state and not keeping contact with us. I am applying for a Prosper loan in order to pay off my high interest credit cards at a lower interest rate than I am currently paying now. My credit card debt became so high because of the 3surgeries my daughter has had in the past 10 years(tonsils, gall bladder and ACL-knee). I paid them on the credit cards because of the hospital billing department calling and hassling me to pay off the bill on credit card because they wanted the bill paid off within a year. I do not have medical insurance that pays very much on the surgeries she had. I pay $50-$100 higher than the minimum every month and pay them on time. I currently live with my parents due to the amount of debt I have. I would like to get out of debt within the next 2-3 years in order to help my daughter with college expenses after her scholarships end. She is looking at a degree in mathematics or business and depends on which one she decides on as to how much more schooling she needs. My monthly net income is 2521.66. The monthly items I pay for are as follows: Phone: 84.83(for2 cell phones) Life insurance- 30.29(that?s for the 2 of us) Car insurance- 110.29(for 2 cars) Medical insurance- 109.47(for both of us) Car loan- 265.64 Credit cards- 1487.00 Household expenses(my half of food, water, propane, electricity, garbage)-180.00 Gas for 2 cars- 160.00 That would leave about 54.00 for any extra expenses that may occur. Please consider my loan so I can put more of my investment into my daughters future. |
