I'm requesting a loan in order to buy a used car.A few months ago, my car died (so to speak) and since then I have been borrowing a car from a relative. This is not an ideal situation, and they need their car back. I work for a company that provides medical equipment to senior citizens and disabled persons. I must have reliable transportationin order to do my job. I like my job, and don't want to lose it! Credit I filed bankruptcy (chapter 7) nearly 10 years ago. It was the result of some poor decisions on my part. In order to get my credit back on track, a relative offered to add my name to some of their accounts. Some of those accounts later had payment issues, but they are now resolved and in good standing. Expenses I live in a family owned home with 2 others. This house is paid for, so I have no mortgage/rent payments. I am only responsible for my own expenses as follows: AOL $15 Rent-a-Center $35.57 Phone $45 Food/Spending/Gas $200 Insurance $100 (Proposed, based on purchasing a vehicle with this loan) Total $395.57 My income is $1,200 per month after taxes, and I have $1,000 saved. I must have a reliable vehicle for work, and believe I can purchase that with $4,000. I originally listed for a little more, in order to keep my savings intact. *My DTI is high. Please note that I am still authorized user on my relatives accounts.
