My name is Samuel Fontillas [LAST NAME DELETED], Jr.  I am a Federal Law Enforcement Officer with the title U.S. Customs and Border Protection Officer or CBPO (previously a U.S. Customs Inspector, U.S. Customs Service, Dept. of the U.S. Treasury), Dept. of Homeland Security at Los Angeles International Airport, Los Angeles, California.  I have been employed since December 2001.  I have been a federal employee since April 1998 starting at the U.S. Dept. of Veterans Affairs, VA Hospital, San Diego, Ca and then transferred to the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Forrest City, Arkansas.  I am also a U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Officer with the rank of Chief Warrant Officer 3 and I am currently a member of the General's Staff, G-4 as the Food Service Officer and Mortuary Affairs Officer at the Fourth Marine Aircraft Wing, Headquarters, New Orleans, Louisiana.  I recently completed my fourth tour of duty in Iraq from January 2003 thru September 2006 on Presidential Re-Call to Active Duty Orders.  I was the Mortuary Affairs Officer and Food Service Officer for the Third Marine Aircraft Wing, First Marine Expeditionary Force forward deployed to Kuwait and Iraq from Jan 2003 thru November 2004.  Search, recovered and evacuated over 20 U.S. personnel remains and responsible for managing numerous dining facilities for over 15,000 personnel throughout Kuwait and Iraq.  I was then reassigned as the Mortuary Affairs Detachment, Executive Officer forward deployed to Iraq from January 2005 thru August 2005 and then as the Mortuary Affairs Detachment Site Officer-in-Charge, Second Marine Logistics Group, Second Marine Expeditionary Force from September 2005 thru March 2006.  I was responsible for the Search, Recovery, and Evacuation of over 350 U.S. and Coalition Force personnel remains.  I finally returned to my reserve command at Marine Forces Reserve, Fourth Marine Aircraft Wing, New Orleans, La in March 2006 and released from Active Duty September 2006.

My goal is to repay the loan amount in 6 months or by the end of September 2006.  This will be accomplished with all the extra monies earned in overtime with U.S. Customs and Border Protection and also my monthly reserve military pay.  I gross approximately $93,793.00 with the overtime cap per year and approximately $12,000.00 annually as a Marine Corps Reservist.

Due to my extremely long military deployment and extremely long separation from my family, I am asking kindly for assistance to help me with any loan amount to consolidate all my debts.  I have served and sacrificed for our country as a U.S. Marine since 1988 and now I am desperately in need of any financial assistance.  Please, consider me for a loan, for me and my family.  Thank you very much for your consideration.

Very Respectfully Submitted,
Samuel F. [LAST NAME DELETED] Jr.
