Hello and thanks for checking out my listing! First, a little background on myself? I graduated from Princeton University in 2004, and am currently employed in a Sales/Trading role for a major international bank. I recently changed jobs, requiring me to move out of Manhattan and into the"burbs." As a result of this transition I have received a promotion, raise, and a guaranteed bonus that I will receive next March. However, I still have approximately $7,500 in outstanding Credit Card debt as well as $2,500 in outstanding student loans. Not much, but something that I would like to consolidate into a single monthly payment while concurrently working to improve my credit score at the same time. Frankly, my score is a ?B? only because, once upon a time, I didn?t realize it wasn?t proper to open & close credit cards with Earth-shattering frequency. I have since moved on from my ?youthful exuberance? and have seen my credit score climb to 715 (the cust of "A") in the process. I have not added to a credit card balance in quite a while, instead spending everything on my Amex charge card and paying the balances monthly, something that is reflected in my pre-loan debt/income ratio of 2%.
As for the extra money I am requesting in this loan, because I will be moving shortly, I was hoping to come up with some extra money to make sure everything transitions smoothly- between paying the movers, the overlap of an extra month of rent I must pay at my old apartment, as well as the potential penalty I might incur for having to break my lease in order to move. The extra money in this loan will give me the peace of mind to ease the stress of this time. My monthly income will more than comfortably allow me to make the required payments, so I am hoping to be able to ease the tension of this stressful time while at the same time erasing my credit card balances.
