I've worked the past two years at a mid-sized Wisconsin law firm. I've progressively worked my way up through the firm and currently hold the position of IT Manager/Marketing Assistant. I currently provide IT support for over 55 employees. I've attached my most recent paystub with all of my personal information redacted (for obvious reasons). Income: $2300 (after taxes and Roth 401k contribution) Total Expenses: $1312 My CreditI made poor decisions while attending college and I maxed out my credit cards without the ability to repay them. All of my credit cards and personal loans were written off (a total of approximately $6,000) and I received one judgment from a credit union for $3,000. That all took place in 2000 and 2001. Why hasn't my debt been completely paid off?The answer, while not a good one, is that all of this debt was written off and the creditors didn't pursue it aggressively through collections. I have since started paying back. Where will the loan proceeds go?$275 ? Utility collection (from college) $300 ?
