This loan will be used to pay Module 1 Courses for CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ™ Certification Education Program at Northwestern University.  http://www.scs.northwestern.edu/pdp/npdp/fin-plan   I've been in the financial services industry for over 10 years and look forward to earning the certificate.

Loan breakdown:
- Calculator Fundamentals and Investments  $250
- Fundamentals of Financial Planning & Insurance Planning $795
- Investment Planning  $700
- Texts and workbooks  $250

My credit rating is E which was due to a business venture from about 3 years ago.  The 15 delinquencies that occurred were all due to the same incident.  They all have been rectified except for one which will be paid in December 2006.  Prosper shows 2 outstanding, but one of them was rectified within the last 90 days.  I have also kept new inquiries to a minimum to keep my credit score from declining.  That is one reason I'm requesting a loan through Prosper so that I'm not declined and have a useless inquiry.  Also this loan will help increase my credit score with a quick lump-sum repayment.

My debt-to-income ratio does not include my spouse's income.  The debt-to-income ratio is high because my spouse and I consolidated our student loans into one loan which is under my social security number.  The student loan represents 22% of the Prosper debt-to-income ratio.

My intentions are to repay this loan in a lump sum within 12 months.  All living expenses (mortgage, utilities, insurance, food, dues, etc) represent 63% of after-tax household income.  The ability to pay a monthly $90 for a Prosper loan is very good.
