My name is Don. My wife Terry and I live with our 2 teenagers in Irving Texas. We have only been married for 1 1/2 years and have just recently purchased a home. It was a pretty good move seeing as our mortgage is about $150 less than our rent was. We both work hard and gross about 70K per year. I am the Marketing Director for a CPA and my wife is an A?R rep. for a major brick manufacturer. Our credit rating is not the greatest due to some unfortunate circumstances in the past, but we are working on clearing it up. We need to refinance in 2 years (ARM) and it's pretty important. Upon closing on the new house, however, we had to come out of pocket quite a bit. Having no savings, i turned to the short term, high intrest loan market for help...(BIG MISTAKE!!!) Now, I really need to get out from under them and get one low manageble payment. Here are our financial circumstances: Salary 1- Marketing Director- $39,800 Employed- 4 years (1 1/2 with current CPA, 2 1/2 with previous) Salary 2- A/R Representative- $29,500 Employed- 5 years Total Gross Annual Income- $69,300 Total Net Monthly Income- $4700.00 Expenses (Monthly)- Mortgage- $850.00 Util./Gas- 525.00 Vehicle - 400.00 Insurance- 110.00 Food - 400.00 Misc. Exp.- 400.00 Total monthy expense: $2685.00 Left over: $2015.00 |
