Hello my name is Sam.  I am a father of two young children, one that is biologically mine and the other that I have raised since he was one.  I have been searching for a way to get help paying off my past debt; well I came across the Prosper website.  Over the past year and a half I have been the only one in my small family working, until here recently.  Due to only one income in the family our debt began to build up and I had to get some small high interest loans to help our family survive, it was a quick fix but a bad choice at that.  My credit rating shows 2 public records which would be back from 1999 and 2001.  One of them was a loan that I used to purchase a car right after I graduated from high school and the third one was from the last months rent at an apartment that a friend and I shared.  Both of them were settled, if you have any questions regarding them feel free to ask.  I am asking for a small loan from Prosper lenders so that I can payoff the remaining high interest loans that I have and get my credit back on track. I want to work towards having a much better credit; my hopes are to increase my credit score so that some day I can purchase a home for my family and to be able to afford a wedding that my fiance and I want so very much.  I know that it shows that I am high risk; I want to prove to the Prosper community that I want to improve my credit and life.

My monthly income: $1864
My fiance income: $500
total $2338

Rent $730
Power/Gas $108
Water $40
Loans (4) $352
Car Payment $300
Car Insurance $112
Food $150

Total $1792

Monthly Income $2338
Monthly Debt $1792

Left over income $546

With a loan of $2025 at 29% interest the monthly payment would be $84.86, which would save us $267.14 per month and increase our monthly left over income to $813.14 after paying the prosper loan payment.
