Hi everyone! I am a current lender on Prosper looking to improve my credit score. As you can see it is "not so great" - this is due entirely to the fact that I paid for a lot of my college costs with credit cards, and then was late making the minimum payments to those cards. However, I have not been late with a payment since graduation in 2004, and all those credit cards are now paid off. I'm hoping to get this loan so that I can simply have the payments deducted from my checking account and by paying something back in a timely fashion for the next three years, hopefully improve my credit score. Currently I have one student loan from the Fed, and one credit card with a $1000 balance which I pay twice a month always more than the minimum payment. I have a stable job that I have been in since graduation.My debt to income is ridiculously low, so making the payment for this loan will be no big deal. |
