  Who am I:  

I am a single mother of a 5 year old daughter.  I currently work for a well know hospital in California.  I have been employed with them for 6 years now.  I am currently working on an associate?s degree in paralegal and then I would like to earn my Bachelors in Criminal Justice.  After completing my Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice, I would like to go to Law School and practice criminal Law.  I put my school on hold while I worked but I never let go of my dream. I still would like to find a way to earn my degree and  get my credit back on track while managing all three things  

Why the bad credit?

 I am a sincere and charismatic person. I am very optimistic and know that if there is a will there is a way.  .  It all began soon after the birth of my daughter.  My parents were very upset when they found out I was pregnant.  They thought I had just thrown all my dreams and all their dreams and hopes for me away. I?ve always dreamt of someday earning my B.A. and then going to Law school but  I was not going to let the birth of my daughter be a mistake.  For the past couple years, it has been a hard struggle.  In a nutshell, many un-wise decisions have contributed to my credit nightmare.   I know that being an HR I am at the bottom list to be picked in the lender?s eyes.  I will do the best that I can to represent my group.  I will make all and every payment on time because I am tired of being judged by my credit score and not for the person that I truly am.  I am here to prove that I can turn my credit score around.  I think everyone deserves a second chance especially if your willing to own up to your mistakes, learn from the experiences, and find a way to correct them.  I know the road to better credit is no easy road to take but with a lot of determination and patience I know I can get there.  You can?t begin to imagine what it would be like to walk a day in my shoes so after reaching my credit goals and educational goals I will ?pay it forward? and someday I?ll be on the other end of the stick?as a lender.  

WHAT I WILL DO WITH THE MONEY LOANED TO ME:

My student loans and financial aid are not enough to cover my school expenses.  The money that I borrow will be used for the rest of my  tuition and books needed for my classes .    I?ve learned a lot through my job experience on what it takes to become successful.  I feel that now is the best time to go for my dreams because my daughter is getting older as am I.  I would like to further advance my education to accomplish my goals.  I know by trying to earn my degree I will be able to find a job that pays better which will help support the both of us financially and will help pay off my bills.   I made a promise to my myself that I would not let the birth of my child be a mistake or a failure but I would use it to grow stronger and make my goal of graduating college and turning my credit around an even bigger achievement.
