Hello! I am requesting this loan to pay for a downpayment on a car. I have been driving my parent's car for the past few years but now that I am married and have moved to Atlanta (my parents are in Virginia) they have nicely asked for the car back. Since my husband and I both work pretty long hours and are on very different schedules, it is pretty important that we have 2 cars. I am borrowing money from Prosper so I can have a large enough down payment on the car to keep my monthly car payments at a reasonable amount and also so I don't have to pay GAP insurance.
A little about me: I recently moved to Atlanta, GA, however, I have been working at the same company for the past 3 years. I am a financial analyst and have a steady income complimented by an annual bonus paid in February. Please note: my DTI does not include my husband's salary or my annual bonus. I am very detail oriented and responsible -- which means I always pay my bills on time and manage my money well. I am a pretty good saver (always put the maximum allowed in my 401K and IRA accounts and save monthly on top of that), and normally would have enough cash for the downpayment, however, I am a little stretched for cash at this point in time b/c I got married and my husband and I bought a house all this past summer. |
