Hi
I recently joined Prosper and I think it's a very innovative tool that can help
many people. I am a native of <st1:State w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">California</st1:place></st1:State>
and I?ve been in the finance industry since 1992. For 10 years I had a
very
successful career rolling out new products and creating high sales from
successful marketing campaigns. In 2003 I left the finance industry to
pursue a
business venture with a colleague. We ran the company successfully for
two
years and were unable to turn a profit in the third year, which forced
us to
liquidate the company. Unfortunately, after paying off all employees,
creditors, and taxes I lost all my investment capital and then some. I
had
responsibility to the investors and partners to make sure all business
debt
would be paid. I was able to pay off all business expenses, but it did
set me
back on my personal debt. I finally caught up and paid off my personal
debt, but it
did send my credit rating down the drain. Since that business was
unsuccessful
I have returned to the finance industry and I am now in a salaried
position that also offers bonus incentives. As you can see my
debt-to-income ratio is low because I now earn a great salary, so I
plan on paying back the loan in a timely fashion as all my other debt
has been paid. The set term (3 years) is a perfect amount of time
because the payments on the loan are very affordable for me and it will
give me the time and resources I need to implement my business plan.
The first step in my plan was to obtain a salaried position and now
that I have that I am in the second part of my plan, which is to raise
capital for
marketing materials. My current employer has provided some assistance,
but the marketing plan I'm trying to implement requires a little more
capital. I'm now in a great
position to rebuild my credit and I appreciate any opportunity that you
may
give to help me prosper and succeed.
Thank You |
